ME: If I'm awake, I'm probably reading or writing about readingz.

27, INTP, slasher, fandomer, (R)eader, writer, feminist, immigrant (Andorra, Figueres, Cerdanyola, Barcelona, London, Glasgow), Argentinean, raised Jewish, agnostic, polyglot, queer, hedonist, English as a second language user.

YO: 27,

THIS LJ: Browse a bit but it's mostly about RL, right now not only about reading, fandom and how my family is crazy but also about my wanderings through the world. Some philosophical thoughts about this and that, and book and movie commentaries and recs also tend to show up, less often still I post some
art, stories/historias o poesía. I write and translate fanfic more and more frequently as I start writing again in general, but mostly I just read it.

REAL LIFE: I have three younger sisters, the youngest of which I have imported to London (the joys of teenage management!). With friends I usually go for quality over quantity and I enjoy and need to be alone often. As my understanding of my own introversion grows, I have approached social interaction with more confidence and better success.

LANGUAGES: I can speak three languages more or less fluently: Spanish, English and Catalan. I got a bit of Hebrew as a kid (Jewish background) and I can get by in most Romance languages with the notable exception of French (French has a 40% deviation from Latin), right now I'm studying Italian pretty much full-time with duolingo, and sort of dabbling in German (in which the first thing I plan to read are the Der kleine Vampir, just as soon as I can get my head around the capitalization). I took Latin and Greek in high school, but I think I learned more vocab from Harry Potter, even if my understanding of case systems is now quite perfected. That unfortunately did not make my brief stint with Russian at uni any more successful, but then again, formal learning is definitely not my forte and all Russian literature made me want to hide except a little bit of the Pushkin, which was punchy.

I believe in grammar and spelling, I believe in using more complex words to be more exact, I mostly believe in commas (sometimes they don't believe in me, though).

HEART and MIND: I love books and stories in any form. These days i read 80% fanfiction(slash, Harry Potter, Stargate: Atlantis, House M.D., Dresden Files, Wise Guy, Jonas Brothers RPS, Hawaii-Five 0, Hockey RPS, Teen Wolf, Avengers, Smallville, The Dead Zone(all 30 of them!), The Breakfast Club, American Idol RPS, Skating RPS, Merlin BBC, Sherlock, Pirates of The Caribbean, Supernatural, due South, The Sentinel, The O.C., X-men movieverse), 9% classics, 1% feminist/queer essays and 10% Young Adult literature and fantasy/Science-fiction. You can check out my reading log at readingz. Since reading is my life, I naturally update there much more often.

You are a RAVENCLAW!

As a Ravenclaw and as an INTP, you are intellectual,
independent, and value excellence in yourself
and in those around you. You have a strong
sense of curiosity, and in general can see many
aspects of a single issue or debate. You have
a strong drive to acquire knowledge and set
very high standards for yourself and those
around you. You enjoy being challenged, and
can accept constructive criticism without
taking it personally. You are probably at
least somewhat unconventional, and will not
usually follow authority for its own sake;
instead, you will consider the issue at hand
and make a decision for yourself.
